Forgetting what is behind I strain to win my prize.

Forgetting what is behind I strain to win my prize.

I want to run the race of faith with focus and perseverance. To see Jesus as more than the everything else that so easily entangles and chokes the life out of my faith and hope in Jesus Christ, in whom I am alive, free, and full of joy now and for eternity. I win when I run with my heart and eyes set on Jesus Christ.

I want a faith that is stronger than my financial position, and income security. A faith stronger than the weakness of my mortal body. A faith in which my inner life is more developed than my outer life. A faith that thinks more on how I am presenting myself too Jesus, than how I am presenting myself to others. I win when I live by faith not by sight.

I choose a faith that seeks God’s house first, trusting God with my house. A faith thats see’s the sons and daughters missing from God’s house and seeks to make a way for them to come home. Thats asks: What about the one who is not here?

I want a faith that develops my praise before I develop my pleasure. I win when I rejoice in the my Lord always.

I want to see how blind, poor, weak, pitiful and naked I am when not clothed and filled with the life of Jesus Christ: So I will be full of joy from one glimpse of mercy given to me in Jesus Christ. So will overflow with praise at the freely given grace that forgives, redeems and adopts me into the eternal family of God.

I win when I run the race of faith marked our for me. hearing the words, well done good and faithful servant from my Father in heaven.
